(February 27th of 2010 to Toronto ON) Pointe Claire is a secluded community in that part of the island of Montreal that is known as the West Island. This part of Montreal is known as the West Island has a lot of different communities. Many who've never known about it may think it is a separate island facing west. Amanda Brugel is said to have been born on West Island. However, this isn't the truth. Brugel was raised on Courtice just outside Oshawa within Ontario.
